It's been quite a busy summer for me.  Bought a different house, closer to Pathways, and moved.
Bought it on Beltane and moved in on Lammas.  Also, just got a different car, a new Honda Element, on
the "Clunkers for Cash" program and helping Heru, my German Shepherd Dog, adjust to both.  Since
I've written last, I've also ordained Debb H. and planning for Karen H.'s ordination later this month.  Am
in the middle of writing new classes as well and they begin appearing on the September 2009 calendar
(PAD Your Day, Prayers, Affirmations & Decrees).  There's a lot of important techniques here that are
workable for anyone, irregardless of your personal path.  And I'm all about helping others progress
faster than I have.
Will write more frequently now that the house issue is getting organized.
Blessings to all,
Deborah

Today was a very solemn day.  Our day at Pathways began when we were contacted by a mutual
friend, Michael, telling us of the unexpected transition of our dear Native brother, dear friend and
teacher, Dennis Bussell.  Dennis and I were dear friends for many years.  Over those years we have
shared many triumphs and trials.  Today was one of the most tragic.  While I know that Dennis lives on
in Spirit, I also know that he gave greatly to everyone he met and will be deeply missed on this Earth
Plane school.  I will write more tomorrow.  Tonight I am sending energy for his Bardo journey.  We are
planning a memorial service for him on Sunday, April 5, from 6 - 6:30 p.m.  All are invited to attend. I
would also request that you send Dennis your prayers and energy for his Bardo journey as well.
Thanking you in advance.
Blessings,
Deborah

Greetings everyone!  My dear friend, and employee, Bill was just ordained by Circle of Light
Independent Spiritualist Church last Sunday.  I am so proud of him.  And I am so thankful that he has
completed the journey to his ordination.  It was a concern to me that there was no second minister for
Circle of Light should one be needed if I was out of town or unavailable.  Before I would leave for an
Astara journey I would always be sure that a funeral service was in place just in case a sudden death
would happen and we'd be needed to provide consolation to a family.  There was also no one else to
do a wedding if I would be unavailable due to other commitments.  Those concerns are now lifted.
There are the competent hands, voice and wisdom of Reverend Bill to help those in need.  I look
forward to sharing the duties of minister of Circle of Light with all the other five who are completing their
studies to be ordained, but I am personally relieved that we have moved Circle of Light beyond the
position of only having one minister.
Congratulations, Reverend Bill and blessings,
Rev. Deborah

It has been brought to my attention by several customers that they would really like to schedule some
private time with me for personal consultations.  I must admit my schedule has been so full that I haven't
devoted regular time to consultations for quite awhile.  So, I am about to rectify that by doing some
private sessions on selected Fridays from 3 - 8 p.m. and also on some Saturdays and Sundays.  One
half hour appointments are $45. Our staff has the appointment book and can give you information.  I
am also posting the days on the "Calendars" page of this website.
In that same vein, I will be going back through the list of people who wanted Gemstone Crystal
Balancings by me (a list that's over 3 years long) and meeting their needs as well.  My plans are to do
Balancings on Saturday and Sunday a.m.'s beginning at 8:30 a.m.  One hour is $90 and a two hour
appointment is $165. So, now would be a good time to add your name to that list, if this interests you.
To those of you who have been waiting, thank you.  I took time off with my puppy and he will be a year
old in March, so now I can address other matters once again.
Blessings to all!
Deborah

I've been busy, but not only with the puppy.  My dear friend Judi was hotlined to Division of Aging and
removed from her apartment.  I had to find her, get power of attorney, find a long-term care facility for
her, close down her apartment and, in general, take care of her and her writings.  Well, we're all settled
now, but the holidays were quite busy between the puppy, Judi and the shop.
Yesterday Judi and I went to the Butterfly House.  It was quite an invigorating visit.  Last week we went
the Orchid Show at the Botanical Gardens.
I've decided to use this venue to share some of the profound quotes that people share with me.  Here's
one from Judi:  "If God's far away, who moved?"
Puppy's doing well, pushing 80 pounds now.  Here's some more pictures of him.  The aura photo was
taken in October, can we all tell he's a teenager?
Blessings to everyone and Happy Valentines Day!

Hello all!
Well, you haven’t heard from me for awhile, but that’s partially because I have a new puppy.  Heru, my
German Shepherd, is now 6 months old.  We’ve been together since just before Memorial Day.  He was
born on Easter.  We’re in the middle of puppydom here, busy with classes and training.  I’ve put most of
my plans on hold to spend the summer with him.  Well, now autumn is upon us, and I’m getting ready to
teach more classes again.  Here’s a picture of Heru, his aura photo which we had taken when our aura
photographer, Charles Drummond, was in the store in July from Sedona, Arizona.  All the sections of
the printout started off with “Mystical, Unifying”, and so he is.
I’ve had some other thoughts to share, and will get them posted soon.  Thanks to everyone for
checking on me, since I haven’t written over the summer.  It’s been busy, but a great deal of fun.
Blessings to all,
Deborah

Greetings everyone!
Much going on here.  Our dear friend Thomas Ashley-Farrand and his wife, Margalo, visited us this
past week.  I had the wonderful opportunity to show them some of our St. Louis treasures, like the Art
Museum, Missouri Botanical Gardens and Cahokia Mound State Park.  We have such a gift here with a
free art museum and zoo, as well as free mornings at the Gardens.  I don’t think that some realize what
a treasure that is; visitors from other cities are amazed when I share the idea of the Arts & Education
Fund with them.
Okay, here’s my thought for this blog.  I thought that people would evolve consciously to the point of not
eating meat.  I surely didn’t think that the change would take place because of hormones, mad cow
disease, contamination in packing plants, and now, tainted fish.  The end result is the same, people
moving away from meat.  Esoterically, this is huge.  When we leave meat behind, changes happen to
our finer bodies.  We become more sensitive, clear and attuned.  People who don’t routinely eat meat
find that when they do, they feel heavy and grounded – losing the attunement to finer realms that they
experienced when on a vegetarian diet.  But now the consciousness shift is happening without a
realization preceding it.  People are becoming vegetarians for health reasons.  We’ve already had new
customers come into the shop, unsure why they’re here, relating stories of dramatic diet changes and
new feelings and an expanded awareness unfolding.  How exciting!  I look forward to the upcoming
years of intense change, knowing that an improved, compassionate world awaits us.  It’s interesting to
see how it’s unfolding in these unique and surprising venues.  Talk with your friends, see what they’re
eating and how they feel.  You might be surprised.
Blessings to all,
Deborah

Hello everyone!
We just had a wonderful week with Suren, the Nepalese Healer and his marvelous bowls.  He did
evening classes and private appointments.  He played the bowls for our meditation at Circle of Light
Church on Sunday evening.  Everyone was quite impressed with his work and he plans to return later
this summer.  More updates as that unfolds.
I’ve been doing the ionic foot baths and can definitely feel a difference.  Results are quite interesting,
and really vary from person to person.  The study continues.
We’re getting ready for spring with more garden plans for the beds around Pathways.  Daffodils are
already up in front, with buds on them!  No sign of the crocus yet (we planted another 250 out by the
street in front of Pathways).
That’s about all my news for now.
Blessings to all,
Deborah

Greetings all!  We’re in the middle of an ice storm today, making it a great day for me to keep up with
news.
We’ve been busy with new software for the shop, now that the retrograde is over.  We’re getting more
comfortable with it each day.  What an improvement!  We used our old dependable DOS program for
15 years, about time to upgrade heh?
On the top of my news list is that I’m finally getting a puppy!  I’ve waited quite awhile to replace my black
German Shepherd, Anubis, and it’s finally happened.  Yet another German Shepherd, with mom and
dad both from Germany. More news as it unfolds.
I’ve tried the ionic foot bath and was greatly impressed.  My years of vegetarian living and vitamins were
apparent as the results were not as bad as others, but still needed.  I plan to work with the equipment
on myself and others.  Will keep everyone posted on that as well.  This could be the answer to my
question of how to handle vitamins with possible contaminations.  If I can detox with the foot bath, I’ll be
more amenable to going back to mega-vitamins.
Well, need to get the monthly e-newsletter written and sent out.
Blessings to all,
Deborah

January 28, 2008
Greetings everyone!  Well we made it through the holidays, inventory and new computers! Whew!
Settling down now into the quiet of the Mercury retrograde.  Mercury will go direct on February 19th, so
pay attention to communications, get clarity, go easy with electronics issues, and avoid signing
contracts if possible.
My current quest is on finding vitamins and supplements that are vegetarian and made in the U.S.A.
with raw ingredients made in the U.S.A.  No easy task.  Apparently most of the vitamins, supplements
and ingredients put into processed food are made in China.  My body is telling me that I not consider
that an option.  I’ve spent many a year to develop my psychic abilities and feel that this is one time I
really need to listen to the impressions I’ve been receiving.  When I was younger I spent several months
juicing (as one of many alternative health approaches I undertook), which just may be my alternative
here.  Will keep everyone posted.
Meanwhile, blessings on your path, be healthy!
