| Christopher Penczak To Visit in November Popular Llewellyn Author, Christopher Penczak will be visiting us again in November. He will be continuing his Wicca classes.Last year he began a 5 year commitment to come to St. Louis to teach his Witchcraft series, the basis of his 5 volume book and CD sets. . This series ultimately provides training for a priest(ess). In case you missed the first installment, he has kindly consented to let individuals study with him on-line to bring them up to take Level 2 when her returns next autumn! This is a huge opportunity to learn a complete total system from one of the most knowledgeable gifted presenters we've had at Pathways. Christopher will be sending us more information after he returns from his current tour and we'll post it here. So come back and check. He will be doing a Water Puja on that Friday evening, inside Pathways. Many of you haven’t done a water puja with him. During the last 4 years he has done fire pujas. The energy of the water puja is uniquely different. The focus for the 2009 Friday evening Puja and weekend workshop will be “Lakshmi, Goddess of Abundance Success, Royalty & Realization”. Deborah spoke with him and, as usual, he has a great amount of new material to present for this weekend. Below is the information that Namadeva sent to us about the workshop. Seating is limited. The weekend will be $195 and the puja is $25, but free with the prepaid weekend. Namadeva will also be doing private sessions on Monday, $50 for 20 minutes. What an excellent time to personally meet with Namadeva and receive a mantra to assist you with your current personal projects! | Nita has had a deep connection with Mother Earth and her energies since she was a child. She awakened on her path fifteen years ago when she became a student of Earth Religions and began practicing Magick. Her journey has also brought her to study Eastern spiritual traditions and she is now a practicing yogi and meditator. Over the years, Nita’s path has led her to study a number of healing modalities. She is a Certified Himalayan Singing Bowl healer, a Certified Mantra Instructor through Sanatana Dharma Satsang, a Certified Reiki Master in the Usui tradition, an experienced practitioner of crystal and stone healing energy, and a long-time gardener working with the Devic energies and magickal herbs. An artist, Nita graduated with a Master of Fine Arts from Temple University in Philadelphia and the Community Arts Training Institute in St. Louis. Her work combines ritual, performance, sound, visual imagery such as mandalas and labyrinths, to create large, participatory and transformative experiences through art. She maintains an active studio where she creates sculptural and functional ceramics using dream imagery and magical symbolism in her designs. Nita assists people in creating sacred meditation spaces in their homes and gardens. She and her husband co-created Artica, an outdoor multi-media participatory art festival that brings the St. Louis area together as a community through creative self-expression. They also co-own a decorative painting business. Currently Nita is participating in the Social Dreaming Project: Artists as Visionaries. Nita believes that we are all sparks of the Divine and have the capacity to tap into her creative energies to make our lives happy, healthy and whole. In turn, it is our work to use these creative gifts to heal the planet and its inhabitants, and to transform it into a home of peace and love. |

| Rev. Deborah to be Doing Private Sessions Once More Rev. Deborah Ann Bourbon, R.N., owner of Pathways, will once again be doing Private Consultation Sessions, $45 for 1/2 hour. She will be available on a limited basis on Fridays and Sundays. She will also be resuming her schedule of Private Gemstone-Crystal Balancings, both one and two hour appointments. If your name is on the list from the last time she did these, over 3 ½ years ago, you will be called first. She plans to work through that list and go forward for those people who have more recently expressed a desire for her to do a balancing. Her current plans are to do balancings on Saturday and Sunday mornings beginning at 8:30 a.m. One hour session will be $90 and two hours will be $165. There will also be some weekday morning sessions available as well. Get your name on the list now, this opportunity is very limited. |
| Bill Gets Ordained!! Bill, one of our family of employees, was ordained in Circle Of Light Independent Spiritualist Church on Sunday, March 15. Bill, along with 5 other dedicated Light Beings, had been working towards his ordination for the past 2 1/2 years in a group setting. He gave numerous presentations on a variety of topics including various religious faiths the world over, duties of a Spiritualist minister, and aspects of offering assistance and leadership to members of his congregation. He also fulfilled his requirement of demonstrating his ability to do message work, lead meditations, present inspired talks and do helpful energy work on individuals attending services. He successfully passed both a comprehensive written essay test and oral examination. As part of the Ordination Service, he received communion and an oil annointing from Rev. Deborah. With special prayers and blessings from Rev. Deborah he received his ministerial stole. His first act as a newly ordained minister was to give everyone in the congregation a blessed semi-precious stone chosen especially for them. His parents came into town for the service. Many customers attended the service to share in this auspicious moment as well. Congratulations Reverend Bill!!! |

very dear friend Dennis Bussell made an unexpected
transition. He died in a car crash in Pennsylvania when he
crossed over the center line and hit an oncoming car
head on, killing himself and 2 others in the other car.

warned, though, one of the video feeds has pictures of
the cars involved, and they are explicitly graphic.
We had a memorial service for Dennis on Sunday, April 5,
at 6 pm lasting until 6:30 pm to send him energy as he
works through his bardo journey. Please keep him in your
prayers. He is survived by three young children and their
mother, Terah Bussell. We have also been taking up a
collection for the family at Pathways.
