| Christopher Penczak Visits in November To Begin Incredible Series of His Witchcraft Classes Popular Llewellyn Author, Christopher Penczak will visit us again November 7, 8 & 9. On the weekend he will be presenting Witchcraft I, in a 5 part series, that ultimately provides training for a priest(ess). He will be returning annually to teach the remaining levels. This is a huge opportunity to learn a complete total system from one of the most knowledgeable gifted presenters we've had at Pathways. This is your opportunity to get in on the ground level of this workshop that is sure to be filled to capacity. $195 for the weekend, 10 am to 6 pm. | NEW CLASS SERIES ANNOUNCEMENT! Rev. Deborah Ann Bourbon, R.N. is preparing a much awaited “Advanced Gemstone Crystal Energy Class Series” for this Autumn. Deborah recognizes the fact that she simply does not have the available time to do this work on her own, one-on-one with clients. She has commitments to Pathways, Circle of Light Independent Spiritualist Church, Astara, and the Co-Masons that require her time and attention. However, it is her deepest desire that the techniques she’s developed doing Gemstone Crystal Balancings for over 20 years be put into use for the benefit of others. And so, this advanced series of classes is being created to teach and demonstrate those techniques. Deborah feels that working with stones and crystals in this manner can greatly enhance a client’s spiritual and practical journey in a unique and lasting way. Deborah has developed her techniques in the years of working with clients as well as incorporating information from years of practice in specialty nursing fields and work as a certified hypnotherapist and certified hypnotherapy instructor. She feels that by incorporating these various modalities effective growth and change can rapidly occur with the augmentation of gemstone-crystal work. The five week series of advanced techniques that Deborah personally uses in her sessions will each come with complete detailed handouts as is her practice in all her classes. There will also be time for practical work as the classes will be from 7 – 10 p.m. As with the initial Gemstone Crystal Energy Class Series, attendance will be limited to 8 persons so that close attention can be spent on the techniques. Completion of the initial series is a requirement for this series. There is so much more material to be covered that builds on the first series that it must be a prerequisite for this new offering. A certificate will be issued at the completion of the series. Topics for the five weekly classes are: 1. Grids in Theory and Practice 2. Techniques for Moving Energy 3. Formatting and Detailing a Session 4. Past Life Regression Work 5. Aspects of Contacting Finer Energies In addition, there is an optional 6th class for $15. This will be a class to observe a complete crystal balancing by Deborah on a client. The client will be determined from willing class series attendees. Each class is $25. | Most Beloved Mantra Instructor, Thomas Ashley-Farrand, Namadeva, to Return to St. Louis in mid July 2009 for Lakshmi Weekend Deborah has spoken with Namadeva, Thomas Ashley-Farrand, popular author of books and numerous CD's, about his visit to us in 2009. At this point the visit will be in mid July and the focus will be "Lakshmi, Goddess of Abundance, Success, Royalty and Realization" There will be a Friday evening puja dedicated to Lakshmi and a weekend workshop on her many aspects. | Nita has had a deep connection with Mother Earth and her energies since she was a child. She awakened on her path fifteen years ago when she became a student of Earth Religions and began practicing Magick. Her journey has also brought her to study Eastern spiritual traditions and she is now a practicing yogi and meditator. Over the years, Nita’s path has led her to study a number of healing modalities. She is a Certified Himalayan Singing Bowl healer, a Certified Mantra Instructor through Sanatana Dharma Satsang, a Certified Reiki Master in the Usui tradition, an experienced practitioner of crystal and stone healing energy, and a long-time gardener working with the Devic energies and magickal herbs. An artist, Nita graduated with a Master of Fine Arts from Temple University in Philadelphia and the Community Arts Training Institute in St. Louis. Her work combines ritual, performance, sound, visual imagery such as mandalas and labyrinths, to create large, participatory and transformative experiences through art. She maintains an active studio where she creates sculptural and functional ceramics using dream imagery and magical symbolism in her designs. Nita assists people in creating sacred meditation spaces in their homes and gardens. She and her husband co-created Artica, an outdoor multi-media participatory art festival that brings the St. Louis area together as a community through creative self-expression. They also co-own a decorative painting business. Currently Nita is participating in the Social Dreaming Project: Artists as Visionaries. Nita believes that we are all sparks of the Divine and have the capacity to tap into her creative energies to make our lives happy, healthy and whole. In turn, it is our work to use these creative gifts to heal the planet and its inhabitants, and to transform it into a home of peace and love. |

| We have a new full-time employee at Pathways! Joyce has moved from working part-time to a full-time position with us. We are excited to welcome her into our Pathways family on this new level. It’s a huge step forward for us, bringing extra hands and a loving heart to Mel, Bill and our customers. Joyce had been working part-time with us for close to a year. She’s familiar with the variety of products in Pathways, and many of you may have already met her. As we continue to grow and expand it became clear to us that we needed another employee and, as fate would have it, this occurred at a time when she was ready to make the shift as well. We welcome Joyce in her new role at Pathways. We’re happy she’s with us! Here's some information about Joyce: From 1991 to 2008 Joyce worked in the medical field. In 2001 her spiritual journey and quest for knowledge led her to Pathways. In 2007 she began working at Pathways part-time. She is an intuitive practitioner and student of astrology, bioenergy, crystal healing, divination, goddess energy, healing herbs and oils, mantra healing, meditation, metaphysics and ritual magick. | Tribute Service for Sita Chaney planned for October 19 For those of you who are members or friends of Astara, we are in the process of planning a tribute service in memory of Sita Chaney, who made her transition in July, on October 19 at Circle of Light’s Sunday evening service. This is the same day that Astara is planning the official memorial service, and an excellent opportunity to blend our energies to wish this incredible lightworker joy and peace on her journey in the finer realms. Everyone is invited. Please be at Pathways at 6:45 p.m. for the service. |
| Circle of Light Spiritualist Church’s Popular “All Message Service” Coming Saturday Evening November 1! Held when “the veil between the worlds” is thin, this is an optimal time for message work. Everyone gets a message! The event is held at Pathways from 8:30 – 10:30 p. m. There is limited seating and this is traditionally a “sell-out” event. Tickets are $20 by advance purchase.
