Lavender & Desert Sage smudge bundle, small

Sage Spirit Smudge bundles are made with sage from New Mexico and except for the “sage only” sticks, are combined with either cedar, sweetgrass, copal, pinon pine, or lavender. All sticks are wrapped with 100% cotton yarn for safe and healthful burning. Each ingredient is considered a sacred herb used for centuries by Native Americans in their smudging ceremonies. “Smudging” is the name given to the burning of these herbs for the purposes of cleansing and sending our prayers . Today, people are “smudging” to receive the benefits known to generations of our Native American Brothers and Sisters.

Caution: a lit sage stick should not be left burning while unattended, and care should be used when extinguishing smoldering sticks.

How to use: Light the end of your sage bundle and fan out the flame-it will smolder like incense. (Don’t blow it out – you will cross your own intention). Be sure to have something to catch the ash and embers from your sage stick as it burns. We recommend an abalone shell.
